The goal of Water the Seeds Foundation is to help children from no-income families reach their full potential by giving them the opportunity to pursue their education. We inspire young children to see how education is essential to accomplishing their goals in life, and we work to improve their circumstances by keeping them involved in school, supporting their interests, and encouraging their talents.
Clean Safe Water: Provide clean water wells to the community along with securing new and existing wells to protect children from falling into them.
School Supplies: Provide school supplies to children and encourage them to attend school. With the ability to attend school and receive an education, children will be better prepared for a successful future as tomorrow’s leaders.
Scholarship Opportunities: Establish a scholarship fund for families that do not have the financial ability to pay for traditional school. This will allow children of poor families more opportunities for success.
Recreational Equipment: Provide recreational equipment for the children so that an environment of balance, and creativity can be fostered along with physical activity.
Support for Girls: Provide young girls with mentors and teachers that will encourage them to stay in school and build a future where girls can do so much more than the women before them.
Christian Elementary School Building: A new Christian elementary school building that will elevate the education level in the village, provide for young children to learn about Jesus Christ and foster a community outreach for His kingdom. The building will also be available for other villages to use in testing their students.
Water The Seeds Foundation aims to provide educational opportunities through scholarships, school supplies, learning structures, and clean water to children in Nimina, Burkina Faso, West Africa.
Our organization tells children that their dreams count. We live by our guiding principle that we can reach our goals if we help each other. “If you wish to go fast, go alone. If you wish to go far, go with others.” (African Proverb)
